The Institute provided professional development workshops to art educators from middle schools and high schools within the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District as part of their annual in-service training provided to teachers at the beginning of the academic year. The Institute structured two customized workshops—one centered on drawing techniques for middle school teachers and another focused on watercolor and gouache techniques for high school teachers.
