Frisco Arts Walk & Run

On Saturday, October 6, 2018 the Onstead Institute participated in the third annual Frisco Arts Walk and Run, an arts-themed 5K and community arts festival along the beautiful grounds of Hall Park in Frisco, TX. The Institute worked with artist and recent UNT MFA graduate Michelle Salazar to design and host a family-friendly art-making booth. Visitors of all ages enjoyed designing a community web out of yarn and fabric as well as creating their own take-home art project. The festival also included food trucks, art tours, and live performances including one by UNT's award-winning Jazz Lab Bands.
